Terms And Conditions
1. Bookings & Payments
All bookings must be made online via our scheduling or payment system before sessions are confirmed.
Full payment is required at the time of booking. Payments are securely processed through Stripe (for 1:1 sessions) or Mighty Networks/Stripe (for membership and courses).
Prices are subject to change, however any confirmed bookings will always be honoured at the price paid.
2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
Cancellations made with at least 48 hours’ notice are eligible for a refund, minus a Stripe processing fee (this fee is non-refundable to us from the payment provider).
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session are non-refundable, except in special circumstances such as emergencies involving the client or dog. These will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Sessions may be rescheduled with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice, or in special circumstances, subject to availability.
Failure to attend a session without notice (“no-show”) will not be refunded.
If Whole Dog Behaviour must cancel a session, a full refund will be issued with no fees deducted, or the session can be rescheduled.
Due to the instant access nature of online courses and digital memberships, refunds are not available once access has been granted, except where required by law.
3. Training Philosophy
Whole Dog Behaviour is committed to ethical, science based, force free training.
We do not use or permit aversive tools or techniques (including but not limited to: choke chains, prong collars, spray bottles, pet correctors, E-collars, or any form of physical or psychological intimidation).
We’re happy to support clients wishing to transition away from aversive methods toward positive, evidence-led approaches.
4. Client & Dog Participation
All dogs must be accompanied and handled by a responsible adult (18+ years old).
Children are welcome to attend sessions where appropriate, under supervision of a parent or guardian.
A veterinary health check may be recommended prior to training if there are concerns that pain or medical issues may be contributing to behaviour.
Clients are responsible for ensuring their dog is safe, secure, and under control during all training activities.
5. Training Commitment & Expectations
Behaviour change takes time, patience, and consistency outside of formal sessions.
Whole Dog Behaviour cannot guarantee specific outcomes within a set number of sessions, as progress depends on multiple factors including the dog’s individual history, environment, and the client’s commitment to following guidance.
Training plans and recommendations are tailored to each dog and must not be shared or implemented with other dogs without permission.
6. Liability & Safety
Whole Dog Behaviour holds appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
Participation in training or behaviour sessions is at the client’s own risk. Clients remain responsible for their dog’s safety and behaviour at all times, including during online sessions or when following training advice independently.
Clients must inform Whole Dog Behaviour of any known behavioural issues, medical conditions, or changes that could impact safety or training progress.
7. Consumer Rights
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, as training and coaching services are booked for specific dates, the usual 14 day cooling-off period does not apply once a booking is made and confirmed.
By booking, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that the right to cancel without cost is limited to the timeframes stated above.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
Whole Dog Behaviour complies with UK GDPR. Your personal information is collected only for the purpose of providing training and related services.
Your data will never be shared with third parties without your consent.
Training sessions may be recorded for the purpose of review or professional development. Photos or short video clips of training may be used for educational or marketing purposes unless you request otherwise.
9. Amendments to Terms
Whole Dog Behaviour reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will not affect confirmed bookings but will apply to all new bookings or memberships made after the update.
Client Agreement
By booking a session or joining the membership with Whole Dog Behaviour, you confirm that you have read and agree to our Terms & Conditions. You understand that all training is based on positive, force free methods and that success depends on your commitment to following the training plan provided. You agree to provide accurate information about your dog’s health and behaviour, and to ensure their safety and wellbeing throughout the process.
